New-generation 10.1-inch full HD tablet "Fire HD 10" (from 15,980 yen) and "Fire HD 10 Plus" (from 22,980 yen) scheduled to be shipped on May 26. I was able to touch it early, so I'll give you my impressions.

First, let me briefly introduce the update points and features. The Fire HD 10 features a 2.0 GHz octa-core processor and 3GB RAM, giving it 50% more memory than its predecessor. The HD10 Plus has a 2.0GHz octa-core processor and 4GB of RAM. The display features a 10.1-inch 1080p (1920 x 1200) Full HD display that is 10% brighter than its predecessor.
The body is 7% thinner and 8% lighter than its predecessor, the Fire HD 10, and features a tempered aluminosilicate glass screen. It is easy to carry and has enhanced durability.
The camera adopts 2M on the front and 5M on the rear. Video calls for business use also support Zoom, Skype, and Microsoft Teams (coming soon).

In terms of performance, there was no scene where processing became heavy even while working while playing Prime video, and I was able to concentrate on typing characters (although it was working while doing it).
As a compact keyboard, the key pitch is 1.7mm (actual measurement). Also, the weight of the Fire HD 10 Plus body was 460g, the keyboard cover was 629g, and the total weight was 1089g (actual measurement).
Unlocking was a problem when using the Fire HD 10+ keyboard cover regularly. The Fire HD 10 is unlocked with a PIN or password input. This was very stressful for me, who was used to unlocking with face authentication and fingerprint authentication.
