How to factory reset your iPhone/iPad after backing up your data

Open the "Settings" app on your iPhone and go to "General". Scroll down and select "Transfer or reset iPhone". If you're planning to buy a new iPhone, even if you haven't paid for iCloud Storage, Apple suggests backing up all your iPhone data to iCloud. This data is stored for a week and removed from your iCloud account after restoration. To use this option, select "Get Started" in the "Prepare your new iPhone" section. Choose "Erase All Content and Settings" to completely erase your iPhone data. You will then see a new page with an overview of everything that will be removed from your device. This is the first time I see Apple ID, Find My, Apple Wallet, etc. in this list. Tap the "Continue" button. Enter and confirm your iPhone passcode. If your iCloud backup isn't complete, you'll be given the option to continue this process once the backup is complete. We recommend ending this backup and taking a local backup on your iPhone or iPad. If you want to skip the backup process, tap "Skip backup". Then enter your Apple ID password to log out of your device and disable "Find My" and "Activation Lock". After entering the password, tap the "Power Off" button, then tap the "Erase iPhone" button. Your iPhone/iPad will now begin the factory reset process and after a few minutes the device will return to the "Hello" screen. Now you can buy and sell iPhones/iPads freely without worrying about sharing personal information with strangers.
