Samsung has announced a new projector called 'The Freestyle' which is available for pre-order now. $900 is a pretty steep price.
It has a cylindrical shape like ↓.
As the name suggests, it can project 360 degrees in various directions, and the maximum projection size is 100 inches 1080p. Built-in 5w 360 degree speaker, no battery. It can also be directly connected to the E26 socket for lighting.
The OS uses Tizen, which is used in smart watches and smart TVs. Since it supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, it can be used not only for projection via HDMI and USB-C like a general projector, but also for mirroring from Android and iOS devices and using it like a smart TV.
As you can see below, the number of projectors equipped with Android is increasing, but this is the system.

Because projectors often have problems with the installation location and the low degree of projection freedom, this is a product that attempts to break down those pain points.
