Started handling 100% recycled plastic & recyclable panels from The Good Plastic Company in the Netherlands on "su+"

■Background In 2017, COMPATH, the design division of UDS, launched su+ (splus). We have been involved in the proposal and provision of management equipment. UDS has been a pioneer in converting and renovating old buildings without destroying them, as typified by the hotel CLASKA, with an awareness of global environmental issues. Recently, we have been working on what we can do, such as handling sugar cane straws and proposing eco-friendly wooden construction, and we came across a high-quality plastic panel made from 100% recycled plastic from The Good Plastic Company in the Netherlands. It has become an urgent situation to tackle environmental crises such as global warming, but it cannot be said that the level of awareness in Japan is as high as in other countries. There are many issues in our own consciousness and efforts in advancing our business, but we will start agency sales in Japan this time in order to work on what we can do. We aim to increase the needs in the Japanese market and reduce the cost of products through proposals not only for our own projects but also for a wide range of industries and projects. ■Characteristics of The Good Plastic Company's 100% recycled plastic panels The Good Plastic Company uses 100% recycled energy and manufactures and sells panels made from 100% recycled plastic. This 100% recycled plastic panel has high design and workability, and can be used in a wide range of applications such as furniture, interiors, accessories, fixtures, and building materials. The company has zero waste and zero carbon emissions in its manufacturing process. We have the equipment and technology to recycle approximately 70% of existing plastics. Each panel is also made from a single piece of plastic, making it easy to recycle. Therefore, without creating new plastic products, existing plastic can be used semi-permanently to create various items and recycle them, thereby circulating plastic.

Another attractive feature is its design. There are 9 types of patterns, such as a light ivory Vintage Pearl made from home appliance plastic such as refrigerators, a Dark Knight made from home appliances such as mice and PCs, and a Juicy Lollipop made from plastic forks and knives. There are three types depending on the pattern: glossy, semi-gloss, and matte. The standard panel size is 1x1m, 1.4x1.4m, 1.22x2.44m, and the thickness is 10mm to 20mm.
