Saul's Gofflet "Butter Goffret (Caramel)", where you can enjoy authentic soft fabric

Hello! My name is Tajima from "Soles Gofflet" in "Tokyo Gift Palette". As a new brand that can only be found at Tokyo Station nationwide, I have been the store manager since the opening of Tokyo Gift Palette a year ago. In order to convey the taste of this new buttery gourmet to as many customers as possible, we bake gourmet at the store every day.

Our shop specializes in the traditional confectionery "Gaufret" from the Lille region in northern France. In Japan, crunchy gaufret is the mainstream, but authentic French gaufret is a soft fabric. I wanted to introduce such original "deliciousness", so I launched a shop specializing in gofret.

The product we recommend this time is "Butter Goffret (Caramel)", which was newly released in September! The batter made with Belgian fermented butter and Hokkaido wheat is baked at a high temperature on a hot iron plate. When you lift the iron plate that is pressed against it, the appearance of it puffing up is proof of its deliciousness.

The crispy butter cream blended with three types of sugar and the rich and rich bitter caramel are carefully squeezed by hand to create our prized butter gaufrette.

It is a sweet that has a chewy yet crisp and fragrant butter flavor, and is made with simple ingredients and a delicious texture.

We often hear from customers who are surprised by the texture, saying, "Huh? Is gaufret really this soft?" Also, I was very happy when someone told me, "Last time, the vanilla was very good, so next time I'll buy caramel."

At our store, we also sell one piece so that you can enjoy the golf fret on the spot.
