Foo Fighters Dave Groll talks about hearing loss and has read his lips for many years, but it is also difficult to wear a mask with a new Coronavirus.
Dave Groll states that recording has not affected the effects of hearing loss on life.
"Even if you sit down at the time of dinner, I can't understand what I'm saying," Dave Groll says in Howard Stern Show."I can't help it. It's the worst if it's a crowded restaurant."
He continues as follows."The worst of pandemic is that everyone is wearing a mask. I've read my lips for about 20 years. I'm a rock musician, but I can't hear what I'm saying."
Despite that situation, Dave Groll can listen to the sound in the studio thanks to the experience of decades in the music industry.
"When you're in the studio to make an album, you can hear it with a really fine sound when you're doing mixing," said Dave Groll."Your ears can be adjusted to a specific frequency. You can listen to the details of the songs that are crazy, the brightness of the cymbal is not enough."
Dave Groll says that it can be performed without wearing the ear monitor. He says he has been confident that he has been using the same engineer for 31 years and can do without ear monitors.
"The problem when I do an ear monitor is to be separated from the sound that sounds through a natural space. I want to hear the audience in front of me. The space perception when I'm on the stage is crazy."
Dave Groll also says that he will release a full album by Slash Metal this week.
Foo Fighters has revealed that a fictitious band, Dream Widow's song "MARCH OF THE INSANE" has been released, and will release a new song.
Dave Groll said in Howard Stern Show:"I found a suspicious basement. When I went to the basement, I found a tape recorded by Dream Widow 25 years ago. When I finished recording the songs there, the devils at home release. It will be a big confusion. "
