Compared to other models (IX2215/IX2207/IX2106), the data transfer speed is increased to 10Gbit/s, which is about five times. Performance during VPN connection is 4 Gbit/s. The number of VPN (IPsec) destinations is 256, making it suitable as a small and medium-sized center router.
Equipped with a URL offload function that forwards traffic that matches a specified destination (URL/IP address) to a specific route. While consolidating Internet access at the data center, it is possible to operate such that only online conferences (audio and video UDP communication) are directly connected to the Internet from the base.
We have an optional UTM (Unified Threat Management) license. You can use antivirus, IPS (intrusion prevention), and web filter (web guard/URL filtering) functions.
In terms of operation, you can use the cloud-based integrated management service "NetMeister" (provided by NEC Platforms). Zero-touch provisioning is possible. No pre-kitting work or on-site setting work is required when deploying router devices at bases.
