On September 19, ASUS JAPAN announced gaming liquid crystal displays (3 models) from the "TUF GAMING" series. The price is open.

ROG SWIFT PG35VQ

ROG SWIFT PG35VQ is a 35-inch ultra-wide liquid crystal display with an aspect ratio of 21:9. Released on September 20th.

It is a curved type with a curvature of 1,800R, and the display uses a non-glare (non-glare) VA panel with a wide viewing angle. The resolution is 3,440 x 1,440 dots. The refresh rate is as fast as 200Hz, and the color gamut covers 90% of DCI-P3.

It supports NVIDIA G-SYNC and HDR 10, and has also acquired the DisplayHDR 1000 standard. Equipped with a full-array local dimming LED backlight that is dynamically controlled in 512 independent zones as a liquid crystal panel technology. It has a high peak brightness of 1,000nits in each zone.

In terms of sound, the DAC is equipped with "ESS 9018" and supports 24bit/96kHz lossless playback. It has a Hi-Fi grade headphone amplifier function and outputs a wide dynamic range and distortion-free sound.

Other main specifications include a viewing angle of 178 degrees both horizontally and vertically, a brightness of 500 cd/m2, a contrast ratio of 2,500: 1 (500,000: 1 when ASCR is on), and a response speed of 2 ms (GTG). The video input interface is HDMI 2.0 x 1, DisplayPort 1.4 x 1.

The stand has a tilt angle of 21 degrees up to 6 degrees down, a swivel of 35 degrees on each side, and a height adjustment of 100 mm. Equipped with two USB 3.0 ports and compatible with VESA mount 100mm. The body size is W833 x D306 x H449-549mm, and the weight is 13.6kg (including the stand).

TUF GAMING VG32VQ

TUF GAMING VG32VQ is a 31.5-inch model with an aspect ratio of 16:9. Released on September 20th.

A curved type with a curvature of 1,800R and a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 dots. The LCD panel uses a non-glossy (non-glare) VA method.

In terms of functionality, it supports HDR 10 and AMD FreeSync. "EXTREME LOW MOTION BLUR SYNC" can use ELMB (motion blur reduction technology) and AMD FreeSync at the same time to further reduce blurring and flickering. Gaming-related Shadow Boost technology makes dark areas more visible without over-brightening bright areas, making it easier to spot enemies hiding in dark areas.

TUF GAMING VG27AQ

TUF GAMING VG27AQ is a flat 27-inch model with an aspect ratio of 16:9. It is scheduled to be released at the end of October.

The resolution is 2,560 x 1,440 dots, and the liquid crystal panel is a non-glossy (non-glare) IPS system. The color gamut covers 99% of sRGB. The refresh rate is 165Hz and it supports NVIDIA G-SYNC. The high image quality function to be installed is almost the same as "TUF GAMING VG32VQ".
